Tranquillity
Qur'an 48:4, 48:18 and 48:26 (sakīnatahu)
The Peace, and Tranquillity of Allah (God)

In the Name Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful. Without the Jewish Shekhinah (sakinatahu), I just may never have found Allah. In Judaism, She is called The Divine Presence of God (Allah) or the Spirit of God or the Holy Spirit.


Qur'an 2:165 "Pero los creyentes aman

Sakina (Shekhinah) Tranquillity,
Spirit of God (Holy Spirit)
In the Name Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful. I have noticed how much a change has come into my life. How beautiful this experience is with Allah and, I found Allah, due to my experience with the Jewish Shekhinah called Sakina in Arabic known as Tranquillity. And I believe, that the Shekhinah to be the presence of God (Allah) and felt as if she has touched my life. There is a great history concerning the Shekhinah, though her name not be found in the Jewish Tanakh (Old Testament), she is mention in the Talmud. Her name means dwelling in short. And may she dwell in us. She may also be the Christian Holy Spirit, but we know she is the Spirit of God. Why is the Shekhinah called a she? Because it's Hebrew in feminine form. Does it mean that she be female? No. Just like we use the word "We" for Allah in the English translations of the Quran but Allah is still one and not 2 or 3 just one. This experssion of "We" in Arabic is found in Hebrew as Elohim, here God (Allah) calling Himself as "We" in Hebrew. It's like a title in Arabic. As the King is coming, we don't say he is here, we say they are here. In this respect the Shekhinah is called a female but still is a male. And I can feel this sweet sweet Spirit. And believe the Shekhinah showed me the Fatimah and by this, I was led to Islam. Then I was led to Sura 48:4, 18, and 26 .....My heart melted. Oh Tranquillity, Oh Tranquillity. Yes, she is Tranquillity. And I also believe the Shekhinah encourage me to buy Arabic music, and here I fell in love with Sofia Marikh.

My start into Arabic
Ishtar Alabína & Los Niños de Sara
Her Mom is from Egypt
and her Dad is from Morocco.
Los Niños de Sara are from southern France.


And hearing Ishtar sing in Arabic...I started longing for more.
Between Alabína and Belly Dancing Music,
I wanted more of this Arabic in words and music.

that at the present time

Maybe because I like these Moroccan Women
or is it the music, or is it both.

Jannat Mahid,
I love her voice most of all
I am in love with Jannat's Voice-truly I am.
(that pierces my heart and soul)
Jannat's voice is just so very beautiful
and when her cd came into my life,
I stop listening to all my Arabic music but hers.

A very interesting fact:
Jannat is the only album ever,
that I did not buy because of her picture.
I bought this cd because Jannat was from Morocco.

My prayer for Jannat
May the Peace and the Tranquillity of Allah always
rest upon you Jannat within your heart and soul.
